Things don't always work out the way you'd like. Finishing the race is better than any medal you could ever have. It does not matter how long it takes for you to get to the finish line. What is important is you never give up despite the failure you encounter. This is a great video to illustrate that thought. When you don't give up you cannot fail.

Self Motivation
It is hard to stay strong when you feel
like giving up. It feels like your world is crumbling down around you, and
there is no option out. So whenever i feel like giving up i reminded myself
that there is always another opportunity.
Yes, there a lot of things that can
provide inspiration. Seeing other people accomplish great things, seeing other
people overcome adversity, even the sheer beauty of nature can remind us just
how lucky we are to be alive. To me, quotes are amazing things. They fuel our
inspirational fire when our internal light is dim. Living our life with
positivity so that we can continue to improve and achieve what we desire.
Sometimes i get so down because even i
struggle hard on my study when at the end, the result are not turns out well.
But then i will remind myself because of my effort all this while i got where i
am today. So it is not impossible for me to do more better. This is because when
you fail once that did not mean that you will fail forever - F.A.I.L means
first attempt in learning. That is why the inspirational quotes is so
meaningful to me, its will make me think twice before i decide to give up. When
it comes to our dreams, every risk is worth it.
"Work hard for what you want because
it wont come to you without a fight. You have to be strong and courage and
know that you can do anything you put your mind to. If somebody puts you down
or criticizes you, just keep on believing in yourself and turn it into
something positive."

Taman Jubilee bukit Aup Sibu, Sarawak
Taman Jubilee Bukit Aup Sibu, Sarawak
The two picture above are the view of Taman Jubilee Bukit Aup, Sibu. Opened in March 1993, Jubilee Park has become favorite local place to relax and unwind especially during weekends and public holidays. Phase one of the park covers 8 acres and comprises an observation tower, sky steps, pavilion, amphitheater, landscaped garden, canteen, lagoon, children's playground and barbecue areas. The lookout tower allow visitors view surrounding plantations, longhouses and the Igan River.
It is located at Jalan Kuari Sibu Sarawak. You need to climb some up hill and there is no cover, unlike Bukit Lima Forest. I personally advise do not go during noon time as it is really burning hot if it is a good weather, probably because I cannot stand the heat. Of course if you dun mind on the heat, that will be the best timing for the walk. There are a lot of activities you can do there, jog, walk, enjoy the pond of fishes and also BBQ.
Sebangkoi Park, Sarawak
SEBANGKOI
PARK
Sebangkoi Park is situated about 30km from
Sarikei town. The park is now badly maintained by the concerned authority and
pretty much in deplorable state. It is such a shame because it is such a
beautiful and wonderful park. This park is ideal for picnic, jungle trekking,
swimming and family outing. Next to this park is a resort (Sebangkoi Country
Resort) where visitors can spend a night there and get closer to mother nature.
There is a shelter at a corner of the lake for
the visitors to enjoy the lake and the park.
Random shots around the park
The simple trek will terminate at an exit
facing the main road. Somewhere around those area there a hornbill statue, the
official mascot for the state of Sarawak. Beside the hornbill mascot there also
has another animal mascot.
Tiger mascot
Horse mascot
Giraffe mascot
Behind those hills
are some jungle treks. There is a water stream and mini waterfall somewhere
inside those jungle. The water is not exactly clean but it is safe for those
who want to swim there. The waterfall attract quite a number of visitors during
weekend.
The simple route will take about 15 minutes to
complete. For those who are adventurous enough, one can opt to venture deeper
into the jungle.

a night at Sebangkoi Park
Belawai Beach Resort, Sarawak
BELAWAI
BEACH RESORT
Belawai has become a popular beach resort for
people from hinterland of Sarawak's central region as evidenced by the huge
turnouts at the recent recreational events held at the beach. With the
completion of Sibu - Tanjung Manis road, which allows accessibility from Sibu
to Tanjung Manis via land transport with only 1 hour of driving distance, the
Belawai Beach which is just additional half an hour driving from Tanjung Manis
became the nearest seaside view reachable by Sibu people. Before this, the
nearest beach is at Mukah Division which required double time consumption of
the current. Thus, during weekend or public holidays, Belawai Beach will be
crowded with visitors.
Such a unique chalet with a triangle shape that
can be found in Belawai Beach Resort, The Sea Premium Chalet. Completely build
by early 2015. New Chalet (VIP Room) with air conditioner : RM200
During peak period especially public holidays,
you may need to pre-book the picnic facilities or else you may go back with
lots of disappointment. Shelters are limited so do prepare umbrellas just in
case of hot sun or sudden rain.
The facilities are chargeable. A picnic table
with a barbecue set will be charged RM4 per session (until you leave the
place). If you want to use the toilet, you need to pay RM0.30 and RM1 for those
who wish to take a bath and clean up the body after playing at the beach.
The beach itself is clean but the sea water is
light brownish in colour which contributes to the imperfection. Anyhow need to
be thankful as with the Belawai Beach, people can now have more chances to
experience picnic and spending their leisure time at a seaside than ever
before.
